Sorry, I'm an igit, I must admit I never read any of the options. In
frustration I just went hunting for my keyboard. I'll click that next
time it pops up.
Still somewhat curious as to why I don't have the mythical
Autorun.desktop file that others seem to have, but oh well.

I know this is not a Myth problem, but I figure someone has run into
this. When I pop a DVD in KDE's cool little "What would you like to do"
menu comes up, promptly stealing mythfrontend's focus and rendering my
remote control useless. So I must get my lazy bum up off the couch and
go hit the escape on the keyboard hidden behind my TV.
Everything I google tells me to remove
$HOME/.kde/Autostart/autorun.desktop. Even Jarod's Fedora/MythTV Howto
says this is how to fix this problem. Except I don't have that file. The
only thing in my KDE Autostart folder is my myth-load.sh script.
Surely this is an easy fix. I actually want Myth to monitor CD/DVD
activity and have that option checked in Setup -> General, then I have
my preference set in the DVD options as to what I want it to do on load.
But that never happens, I assume because KDE is taking over.
Thanks Mike

click the checkbox to remember that selection. That solved the problem
for me.
