Yes, it appears to be connected to the stream no being halted during an

input change as a scheduled recording appears to be able to change

inputs without problem. Perhaps I'll have to resort to looking at the

code...<br>

I can't help you with this, but I have noticed other circumstances where

the ConvertX output becomes unplayable...  Lossless transcoding often fails

to produce a playable stream (<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/2854">http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/2854</a>) and

swapping the PiP window and the main window also sometimes results in

garbled playback.  My theory is that there is some issue about

synchronizing on valid keyframes when switching between streams, but that's

just a theory.
