<div>alright, so in&nbsp;my previous post I thought I had lirc or a serial interface misconfigured.&nbsp; But now I&#39;m completely stumped. </div>

<div>I&#39;m trying to get a serial receiver to work.&nbsp; Sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn&#39;t.&nbsp; It never works on bootup, but if I unplug it from the serial interface, and plug it back in I can get it to work (sometimes it takes several tries).&nbsp; I don&#39;t think this is a problem with the interface itself, because if I load windows on the same box, winlirc works every time.
