First things first, i'd go into your firewall/router and set your Myth box to DMZ. Yes, this is dangerous but we're only keeping it there for a few minutes. At that point, go ahead and try mythfilldatabase to see if you can grab data. If you do grab data, you've got some kind of problem with your firewall. For the purpose of this message I'll assume you can't get data in this method.

Next lets try a traceroute to datadirect.webservices.zap2it.com from work in St. Louis I get the following Trace:

M:\>tracert

mdf1-bi8k-1-eth-2-2.chi1.attens.net before someone turned off ping requests. I'll make the assumption that this is the link into datadirect's ISP and that it's their ISP (or themselves) that have ping returns turned off. Run a traceroute on your box and make sure you can get at least to this point in the path. My guess is, you can't.

Next try http directly to http://206.18.98.160/ (this rules out any issues with DNS Name resolution)

Should get the following:

HTTP Status 404 - /
