Well, I made adjustments and that seemed to help--I retrieved the channels. But when I went to watch tv, the screen blackens temporarily then goes back to the main menu.

I chose 'uscable' (although the instructions indicated leave on 'default,' but that wasn't getting me anywhere), but I noticed there were several types of cable--
us cable, us cable-hrc, and us cable-irc. I chose us cable. I have no idea what the other two types are about. Could this be the reason that I am not now getting anything?

And the window that it is in now is still large. Doesn't seem to be a way to resize the screen once it is opened.
