the non MCE has the ir blaster connected to the card with a little mono plug
jack, whereas the MCE has the blaster connected to the USB IR receiver. The other
thing is that the driver that you need to compile lirc with is mceusb2 rather
than the stock prv150. Other than that it should not be to different.

It is not loading the firmware that you made. How can I go about getting
it to load. Where does it need to go? Do I need to send a command to ivtv
to tell it to use a different firmware?

When I send a command to the irblaster with irsend it sends successfully
but It does not blink.

Any help would be great!!! Thanks.
I'm not sure what the difference is between MCE and non MCE, but I followed
this guide http://www.blushingpenguin.com/mark/blog/?p=24
to get my PVR-150 non MCE version working with the IR Blaster on Fedora Core 6
(2.6.20-1.2944.fc6). It works like a champ. My firmware is located
in /lib/firmware. Not much, but I hope that helps.
