I just picked up number four and five of the same drive yesterday and they are pretty dang quiet. I have 3 of them in a software RAID5 now and they're not too bad. But they definitely aren't in my frontend box. They sit nice and cool in my backend box (which is unfortunately in my room). Love that storage!
