I have mine hooked up via DVI-HDMI at 1280x720. Have horrible overscan. I am using the auto modline in xorg. I'm sure I could mess with a custom modeline and help with the overscan, but I just adjust it in myth itself and it looks good. Only use that tv for myth anyway so i'm not too concerned.
