<br></blockquote></div><br>Can't really say - we don't know what the money is.<br><br>In terms of benefits, quieter drives would appeal to those of us with combined FE/BE setups. And lower power consumption is always a plus. The increased performance is probably not significant. Anyone recording enough streams to need the extra performance will be running multiple disks anyhow.
