<div>Just a wanted to chime in and say for me, running the latest SVN version of Myth, and preforming those commands it did not work. I entered them in, checked (iirc by using the -q option) to verify they were disabled, and the screen still blanked every 15 min. like clockwork. What I finally had to do was go into /etc/X11/xorg.conf and scroll down to what I beleive was the monitor section and look for the line "DPMS". You will want to change it to say "DPMS" "OFF" and save. I also added in a few more tidbits at the end, but they did not help with screen blanking. This as the only thing that did it and have yet to have the screen blank.
