I just reinstalled my myth box with Ubuntu Feisty Herd 5 (admittedly a pre-release copy). I seem to not be able to make any DVD rips. I tried both ISO and perfect with no success.<br><br>Here are the errors I'm getting in the log:

13:43:58: Error: DVDPerfectThread read failed for 3024766096 blocks at 15<br>13:43:59: job failed: job dvd 99 1 0 1 -1 /var/lib/mythtv/videos/Casino Royale<br><br>I know there is a problem with udev in Herd 5 that is putting the dvd drive under floppy group (vs cdrom), but I should have been able to get around that by adding the mythtv user to the floppy group (and restarting mtd).
