<br><br>Furthermore it sounds like you are not actually using the MythTV frontend software on your xbox. You are using some other media software to playback MythTV recordings? You really should specify that in your posts. Otherwise it is very confusing for people to try and help you.

Can you provide more information? Are you using GentooX, Xebian, or<br>another pure Linux distro? Are you using XBMC w/ the xmbcmyth<br>scripts?<br><br>It sounds like you might be using xbmcmyth, which requires you (IIRC)
<br>to have samba running on your backend. Then, you have to specify in<br>the settings what your backend's IP is, as well as the name of the<br>share.<br><br>It's just a random shot in the dark. If you can be more specific about
