I'm looking for something cheap to add a couple more tuners to my backends, which are currently all PVR-500s. I saw the Kworld KW-LTV7131RF and liked its price point, and noticed in the MythTV wiki that it should work just fine.<BR>

However, it says "Real-Time MPEG 4/2/1 Encoding", but I can't tell if that is on-chip, or in its Windows software. I don't want to deal with software encoding... my backends don't have that kind of horsepower.<BR>
