<span class="postbody">The indepth scanning of mythgame is not working in my box. When using zipped roms, all games get genre unknown'SYSTEM' and
year 19xx. However, if I unzip some of the roms, the unzipped roms get
correct year (but genre remains unknown). Strange. Romdb has been
successfully imported, mythfrontend log does indicate any errors. I
took a look at the mythconverg database and the CRC values in
gamemetadata and romdb tables seem to match. So it seems that mythgame
calculates the CRC correctly but is not able to associate that with the
correct romdb entry. Anyone having similar problems or a solution???
I have googled and searched the mailing lists without any success.<br>

I'm using the SVN version of mythtv on a Gentoo system. The scanning did not work with mythtv 0.20 either.<br><br>Regads,<br> -Markus<br></span>
