</blockquote></div><br>You (deliberately?) misunderstand me.<br><br>Isaac didn't say he was interested in doing this, he said he didn't see the point as it was the same as existing functionality. I was merely trying to elaborate as to what the difference was. I never said or implied that Isaac or anyone else should do this work.
<br><br>Bruce, you're displaying that attitude that sees occassional but reoccurring complaints from the non-developers in this community. Now, there's nothing wrong with the sentiment you're voicing. It's the tone. That tone will discourage people like me from contributing, not encourage. I realize you see an endless stream of feature requests and ideas and few patches, but I humbly suggest that if you can't respond politely in that situation you'd do better for the MythTV project if you didn't respond at all.
