Check your boot log (dmesg) for information from IVTV. In particular

did it recognize the tuner type? - "type 4" is IVTV's way of saying

it doesn't know what the tuner is, and you will have to specify it

manually. My 350 is an LG TAPE H001F MK3 (idx 68 type 47) but the

Hogs use whatever tuner they found in the shop the week the card was

made.

Make sure the tuner input of the card is associated with the correct

channel lineup, and that the proper frequency table (cable, HRC or

IRC) is being used.

You're close, IVTV is just not setting the tuner to the correct

channel, or so it seems.

Thanks for all of the ideas. NO luck yet. I've tried cat /dev/video0 > test.mpg and replaying it but I'm still eating static. I've tried us-cable-hrc an us-cable-irc (and just us-cable), then I do the channel scan (when it is scanning is there supposed to be channel listings popping up when it scans a real channel? I'm not seeing anything but the process bar working its way to 100%). This is proves fruitless too.

Here is the dmesg log. It looks to me like the type is correct. Any guesses?
