Plugreport does not list my vendor and model id.<br>

I don't know what else to recommend although I doubt the cable company turned off the ability to change channels w/o messing up the service itself. If I was in your shoes I would probably take the box to the local cable office and try to change it out. Not a big deal and worth a shot. Good luck
