Having a synch between two PCs that's akin to two TVs on the same channel is something I've been looking for for about ten years now. I've never found any good solution on the digital side of things - re-encoding or broadcasting over IP always results in different timing on different displays, and I've never found a way to synch them up. The only solutions I've found have been analog - long cables to multiple displays or the wireless solution that Brad mentioned.
