I know this is going to sound strange, but how hard would it be to<br>modify the "Watch Recordings" page to behave in a way similar to a<br>Tivo? My wife keeps telling me that she loves the folder interface of<br>
the Tivo, and that the MythTV one is confusing to her (although, she<br>adds that it is possible that it just might take some time to get used<br>to the MythTV interface) and, more than likely, it will be confusing to<br>
the kids (my take on it is that they will figure it out faster than her.<br>:) ).<br><br>What she was asking for was really two different things:<br>Is is possible to have the list on the left of all of the recordings<br>
(the show name) be scroll-able with the item at the top of the list<br>being the first one highlighted?<br>Is it possible to just list the show names, with "selecting" them<br>bringing the user to a new window with a listing of just the episodes of
<br>that particular show?<br><br>I'm guessing the latter is less likely, but I really don't know what is<br>do-able. So far, MythTV has been so versatile that I am fearful of<br>saying "No, it can't do that."
