Hi,
I just upgraded from Ubuntu Dapper to Edgy, (I created a new partition for Edgy, so I still have my Dapper install). As far as I can tell, my MythTV setup is the same as it was before, but I can't record sound on my Edgy install. When the backend is trying to record something, the log is repeating:

NVR: Only read -1 bytes of 4096 bytes from '/dev/dsp
read audio: Input/output error

When I try running 'aplay /dev/dsp' I get:

play: playback:2021: read error

My mixer seems to be set properly, and when I unmute the Line In, I can hear what's coming through the tv card.

I'm fairly confident this is a problem with Ubuntu, not MythTV, but I was hoping someone here might have an idea on how I can fix it. For the time being, I'm back on my dapper partition, but I'd like to upgrade if possible.

Thanks,
-Austin
