I peak in on the 1394 mailing list to see what is going on and it looks like they are working on a new stack that may help people like me that are having problems with firewire.<br><br><a href="http://lkml.org/lkml/2006/12/5/7">
http://lkml.org/lkml/2006/12/5/7</a><br><br>Just to clarify for most people I think that it works fine but I know there are some chipsets not supported and I have problems when I have two cable boxes streaming for a large amount of time. Just thought I would drop this out there in case anyone else is interested.
