12.0pt'>I'm having difficulty getting DVD Playback to work. I'm using
Ubuntu Edgy with the Ubuntu MythTV packages.<br>

I've made sure /dev/dvd is a symbolic link to the dvd device (/dev/hdc) and can
mount the dvd using /dev/dvd from a command line. <br>
<br>
When I select play in mythtv in the optical drives menu, the screen goes black
for about a second, and then the mythtv menu is back.<br>
<br>
What should I check/try?<br>
