I tried to build the latest version of mythtv on the fixes branch. The configure works fine but when I build I get errors related to XvMC. In particular, missing header files (e.g. Xv.h). My machine is using the NVidia proprietary drivers (if that matters). Is there something I need to download download and build or just apt-get to resolve this problem? (as I said, I have the drivers already and they work fine).
