I'm currently dealing with the exact same problem. System lock ups as soon as I put in an Nvidia 6200 card and enable the driver with or without the NVAgp option (and I've tried 0,1,2 and 3). I've tried the card in windows using dual boot on my myth box and it works fine, it's definitely an issue with the evil nvidia binary...
Keep me informed if you make any progress and I'll post any success I have. It sucks and it's becoming more frustrating by the minute.

On 11/16/06, Yan Seiner
