I built my first MythTV system this weekend. Frontend and backend are on the same machine. It was working pretty good until a few hours ago. I changed a few settings because I wanted to try to get closed captioning to work and to update my channel lineup from data direct. After restarting the backend and frontend, I can watch Videos but if I try to watch LiveTV I get an error:
<br><br>NVP: Timed out waiting for free video buffers<br><br>The error repeats until I kill the frontend. I don't see any messages from the back end. Can anyone offer any suggestions? Fedora Core 5, using atrpms but livna nvidia drivers.
<br><br>The only big change I can think of is that I temporarily had the box connected to my DSL modem to download the channel data. I unplugged the ethernet after mythfilldatabase completed because I haven't finished running the cable. Is there a setting I need to change? Should I start over? Thanks for any suggestions.
