Raid and LVM scare me due to added complexity. I have heard
horror stories about a dead raid controller losing everything. A
dead HD is only 500 or 750 GB these days...</blockquote><div><br>I agree, which is why, in most situations, I advocate using software RAID. It guarantees that you can use that RAID on any device which supports Linux. <br>
