Right now there's just no way to get the cable HD channels into Myth<br>while preserving HD if the company has set encryption on them.<br></blockquote></div><br></span>I've been wondering about why there are no tuner cards with DVI or HDMI inputs for this reason. It seems it wouldn't be too different than taking the mpeg stream from a co-ax cable. Is there any major technical reason preventing the production of such cards? I know that nvidia has some cards with VIVO, but I don't know if there is linux support for them nor if they work for all of the card's ports or just the s-video port.
