Running irrecord on the existing lircd.conf (actually ledxmitd.conf in my case) goes with no errors; however, the signal length is only one. Thats not right is it? If it makes a difference, my ir receiver is windows media center using the mceusb2 module. Here's what I get (only did two buttons):
