I've done it. I have digital passthru from MythTV via coax SPDIF.<br><br>MSI K9NGM2-FID Socket AM2 GeForce 6150.<br>Fedora Core 5, Linux kernel 2.6.17-1.2174_FC5smp.<br><br>Here's what made the difference: I downloaded and installed ALSA
1.0.13 from <a href="http://alsa-project.org">alsa-project.org</a>.<br><br>I had been testing with mplayer, to get it to pass AC3 from DVD to SPDIF, and even after the new ALSA version, it still didn't. But I tried mythfrontend anyway - and it worked!
