</a><br></blockquote></div><br>It is unencrypted on my system. I use firewire to get ESPNHD, DSCHD, ABCHD, NBCHD, CBSHD, FOXHD, and PBSHD. It may or may not be encrypted on your system. There is a way on most boxes to see if 5c is turned on for specific channels. I found out about my sa3250hd on the avsforums.
