Sometimes the linux kernel may crash but not be able to write to your local messages&nbsp; file.<br><br>If you have another linux box on your network, configure it to accept syslog messages from your myth box.&nbsp; On your myth machine that's crashing, install the netdump package and edit it's configuration.&nbsp; You only need to specify a syslog server, leave everything else as is.&nbsp; Restart the netdump service.&nbsp; It's highly likely that you will get a complete trace of why your kernel is crashing, if that's what's happening.
