I got it working this morning. The guys in the forums at pcHDTV refer
to changing the kernel number in dvb_net.c, but I couldn't find that
in the file. So after a second read I saw that you could just delete
the two lines that contain "xmit_lock". Everything compiled and is
running smoothly.

Unfortunately, now I'm running into a ton of ' cx8802_timeout ' messages<br>
when attempting to (ab)use dtvsignal.<br>

However, when I unloaded several cx88* modules, dtvsignal works.
Unfortunately, this removes everything<br>
from /dev/dvb/*, leaving things unusable. <br>
<br>
dtvscan runs (but finds nothing) with those modules loaded. With the
modules unloaded, it bombs.<br>

Off to play some more...<br>
