Out of curiosity, is there a Linux command or utility that displays all<br>files open on the system and would this work for files that are open but<br>have been deleted?</blockquote><div><br>lsof can do that, but it's hard to tell what you're looking at, since the file no longer has a valid pathname. (lsof will tell you the filesystem name, though.)
