I second this. Having used MythArchive burned DVD's on a regular DVD player, I find the Title and Menu keys are reversed compared to how I would intuitively navigate a DVD.

On 7/27/06,

The DVD navigation using the xine player with an IR remote now works
differently for DVDs I burned using MythArchive compared to DVDs
burned using the older mythtvburn script.

Previously, I had my Menu button defined with the action "config =
Menu" in the lircrc, and when pressed, it would take me to the root
menu of the DVD where the primary titles of individual shows are
shown. For DVDs burned using MythArchive, the "config = Menu"
statement in the lircrc only gets me back to the chapter menu for each
primary title. Changing this line to "config = RootMenu" also only
takes me to the chapter menu and not to the root menu. Only "config =
TitleMenu" will take me back to the root menu of a MythArchive-burned
DVD. Now the problem is, that on my older mythtvburned DVDs "config =
TitleMenu" takes me beyond the root menu to the nifty mythtv splash
screen for the G.A.N.T. theme.

Is there someway to construct the DVD menu structure in MythArchive so
that RootMenu means root menu and TitleMenu means chapter menu?

--
Chris M.
_______________________________________________
