When I run ls -ald /usr/local/media/tv/*, this is what I get:

-rw------- 1 root root 83882592 Jul 23 17:25 /usr/local/media/tv/2192_20060723172400.mpg

The other surprising thing I just noticed is that my old recordings, which I make it chmod -R 755, if I try to go and watch them, I can do so. However, once I start watching it, their permissions now change to permission of 666!

Another thing is due to this permission screw up, I can't watch Live TV, but then it is apparent why...

Thanks,

--a--

On 7/22/06, Michael T. Dean
