Hi all, sorry if this has been covered before, but I have been unable to find it.&nbsp; I have a large collection of childrens DVD's for <br>my daughter.&nbsp; I wanted to rip all of them to the mythbox, so that I had instant access to all of them.&nbsp; I also wanted to 
<br>encode the main titles only as xvid to conserve space.&nbsp; That and my daughter doesn't need any of the bonus features, etc.&nbsp; <br>I have been able to rip them on my windows box and transcode them no problem.&nbsp; However the audio and video never
<br>sync.&nbsp; I have tried every option in all the ripping/encoding tools and still no luck.&nbsp; <br><br>What I wanted to do, was put the movie in the dvd player, hook the svideo output of the dvd player into the <br>svideo input of the pvr250.&nbsp; Play the dvd, record it off of the svideo input and then transcode it to xvid.&nbsp; 
<br>Complicated I know, but it beats transcoding for hours only to realize the audio is off sync.&nbsp; <br>My basic question is, this seems possible, but has anyone tried this or know for a fact that it is or is not <br>possible.&nbsp;
