For some reason when I select watch tv, it blanks the screen for a second and then drops back to the menu screen. What do I do to fix this? The second issue is probably the least troublesome to repair but is perplexing me. Perhaps I need a driver, maybe not. I have a Unichrome 2 based VGA card (integrated) and all output is in monochrome. What XFree argument do I pass to fix this? On my desktop system, the nVIDIA card needed to be forced into component out to work correctly (this is an svideo to an rca connection as well).

Before going in to Myth try testing your card by using cat /dev/video0 > /tmp/test.mpg and playing it back with mplayer. If you see video then it should work fine in Myth if you have your video sources setup correctly in mythtvsetup. You may have to manually compile Myth to work with unichrome support. Take a look at the link below to see if it will help you out.
