<div>What type of directv box do you have?</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I know older versions of the directv.pl script had this problem after a firmware upgrade (maybe a year ago?). Make sure you don't have the older one in your path somewhere.. is it possible that mythbackend is using the wrong script?

The mythtv thinks it's on channel 5, but the directv displays channel 4828. I think that's where the "Excessive channel change retries, commanded 77250 got 4828" error is coming in.
