<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="" lang="EN-US">Here's the
strange thing. I was trying to change the font sizes where it has small, medium
and big and this was not changing the sizes on menu views. The font sizes in
the option views were changing though. So as a result of other issues I was
having (Bad ANN query), I removed mythweb (causing yum to also remove mythtv-suite).
I also removed all themes that were not 0.19.x (sad cause there were some I
really liked). Then I ran the following as well:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="" lang="EN-US"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-ZA">$ mysql -u root -p <
/usr/share/doc/mythtv-0.19/database/mc.sql</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-ZA">This seemed to cause other problem such as
the backend not being able to see the channels. However in all that it did seem
to fix the Bad ANN query error and my not being able to view LiveTV. And also
actual fixed the problem of all the menu items appearing all on the screen, and
letters like g not being cut off at the bottom.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-ZA">So as you can see I stumbled across the
solution to this problem inadvertently when bumbling through another issue. If
either problem resurfaces, I shudder to think how I will solve it.</span></p>

You could try changing the font sizes in Setup -> Appearance. </span>
