I'm one of them - have an M90000. Without bob interlacing, using XvMC
gives really strange results. Stuttering playback, especially on pans.
With it enabled, I get 'Video sync method can't support double
framerate (refresh rate too low for bob deint)' but playback is then
smooth.
I wonder if this is just an oddity of the viaXvMC support?

Hi All,
What do people use with their VIA's for picture de-interlacing?
Specifically for an SP13000, PAL TV on Svideo with DVB (nova-t's)
recordings?
Bob seems to work, although I seem to get a general stutter, but
panning shots are much improved.

I'm confused - if you are going out of the s-video to a TV then you WANT
it interlaced don't you? Thats what TVs do!
