working mythtv setup for about a year. So now <BR>>it's time to screw that
up. <BR><BR>>I wanted to add LIRC with a media center IR receiver. I followed
the <BR>>instructions, and got everything working. It even works with Myth.
<BR><BR>>The problem is, when irxevent is running, watching recordings or
live tv <BR>>cauese a prebuffering pause about once per second.
<BR><BR>>If I kill irxevent, the pausing goes away. <BR><BR>>I'm using
0.18.1 Mythtv I've installed as a package on a Debian system. <BR>>Kernel is
