When using this new nvidia driver, I can't get my second xserver to
start, but it did in v7676 fine (I have a CRT on the VGA connector and a
TV on the SVIDEO connector.)
I get the following errors in Xorg.0.log:
(EE) NVIDIA(1): Unable to find available Display Devices for screen 1.
(II) UnloadModule: "nvidia"
(II) UnloadModule: "ramdac"
(II) UnloadModule: "fb"
Screen 0 (a CRT) works fine.
And, xorg sees the screen at the beginning of boot:

On a lark, here's a question:
I installed the *686 version of the kernel modules from atrpms. Do you
think that has anything to do with it since I'm on a Athlon64 3200 (I'm
in 32 bit mode). Just grabbing for anything here. It's got me stumped.
Everything else seems to work fine (I can start mythtv on the CRT and it
runs ok.)

Any ideas? I didn't find any instruction to create a list of available
display devices. BTW: where did you see the option
UseDisplayDevice "TV-0"
I didn't see that in the man page nor on the x.org site

I removed the ConnectedMonitor option under my main CRT and the second
screen (Screen 1) came up.
So, you might try that if your second SVIDEO/TV screen isn't coming up.

update on the SVIDEO out with this new driver.<br>
I did some changes to xorg (for HD) to check out. But, when I restarted
X (or even restarted the PC) the second screen for SVIDEO did not
start up! I couldn't figure out what the heck was going on. So, I went
back to my saved xorg that I knew worked. It DID NOT work either. <br>

I couldn't figure it out. Just for the fun of it, I turned on the TV
connected to the SVIDEO. <br>
BAM, the second screen came up after restarting X. That is NOT the way
v7676 worked. I did not have to have the TV on for the card to work on
SVIDEO.<br>

Just thought someone might come across this same problem. Heck, maybe
v7676 was wrong in the first place, but it certainly isn't consistent.<br>
