#1) Sound doesn't appear to work, regardless of card (350, hd3000/dvb-qam, ieee1394), with kernel 2.6.16. I suspect I need to upgrade to alsa-1.0.11 as that did it before. Anyone know why?
#2) XvMC doesn't seem to be reducing the cpu load. Using an nvidia 6600GT before has dropped cpu usage on my amd x86_64 3800 to 40%, but it's now at 95 ish. Using 8178 both times, so I'm not sure why.
#3) Firewire is bailing out for some reason. The channels change just fine (as in when I first start mythbackend), but can't seem to view it using live tv. Anyone have an idea why?
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be recognized at all. I suspect it has to do with the ivtv drivers for the 350, but I don't know if that's a known issue.
