<pre wrap="">That certainly explains why I've never heard of anyone running XvMC in
Myth on an i810. :)

<pre wrap="">Actually, this was something I was going to tackle next week after I
am done using my laptop for a webcast this weekend where it needs to
be rock-solid stable. That's the only reason I know about the 6 or 7
surfaces - I had already started doing research. But since my laptop
has a 1280x800 screen it would be great for playback of HDTV content.
Keep on trying to get this to work - I'll try to join you next week.

I have an i810 chipset in my intel D815EEA2 motherboard. It's kinda
crappy. I get vertical texture artifacts all the time,
even in 2D mode. Do you have the same problem? Or is it just my hardware?

Running as a myth frontend I can play SDTV clips - myth recorded and
otherwise - all day long with no problems. It looks great. I use it
to watch the news (with headphones) while the rest of the family is
watching a movie that I don't watch,<br>
