<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>1. LiveTV locking up seems to have been fixed
by removing the irqpoll kernel option during boot. But that caused my USB
reciever to die after a few hours which prompted me to find another way to keep
it working.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>2. USB reciever dying issue has been fixed by
going into the bios and *enabling* the parallel port. This caused my USB
devices and hub to jump from IRQ7 (standard parallel port interrupt) to irq 5
which isn't in use by anything in /proc/interrupts. Machine ran overnight
without a lockup and the remotes still worked this morning, which I must say
warmed the cockles of my heart.</FONT></DIV>
