identical issue. Everything else works fine, scheduling and watching
recorded programs, videos, music, etc. But LiveTV will after a period of
time, lock hard. No keyboard input, lirc input, ssh, etc. Hard
reboot is the only option, and when the system comes up there is nothing in any
of the logs that I have seen to indicate that anything was happening at the time
(i.e. no entries for 15 minutes, sometimes hours).</FONT></FONT></DIV>

properly. I.e. could leave livetv on all day and it would sit and do its
thing. So I've catalogued a list of recent changes that I'm going to be
looking into tonite:</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Verdana size=2>Replaced fans in case and on processor (not
likely as temps show ~100F)</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Verdana size=2>Configured Samba (if I turn samba off it still
locks)</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Verdana size=2>Changed boot options (added selinux=disabled for
samba and added irqpoll to solve a problem with the usb ir reciever
dying)</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Verdana size=2>Screwed up my channel listings (off by one on
video1)</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Verdana size=2>Switched remotes to Sony Commander 3100 (very
unlikely that this would have anything to do with it)</FONT></DIV>

my box stable while watching video in Mythtv. <BR>>The box freezes, sound
repeats last known sound, only way to shutdown is <BR>>power switch, no
var/log/messages errors, no backend errors, no frontend <BR>>errors. I'm not
sure how to pinpoint where the error is coming from. Last <BR>>month I was
running kernel 2.6.13 along with mythtv 0.18 and everything was <BR>>happy.
In order to fulfill documentation needs for myself I tore down the

about 1-2 hours when watching tv or a <BR>>recorded show. I've regularly left
mythtv running at the main menu for long <BR>>periods of time and don't get
the freezes. I've left the box up for days at <BR>>a time without lockups.
I'm beginning to narrow it down to ONLY happening <BR>>while watching video
through mythtv. Does that mean it's my hd3000 drivers <BR>>or firmware? While
watching LiveTV could my Nvidia drivers finally be <BR>>hitting a brick wall
somehow? It's confusing the heck outta me! THanks for <BR>>any help.
