<div>Thanks for the suggestions Kevin. I tried removing my .asoundrc file and tried using ALSA:default and ALSA:spdif for my audio device with no luck. I also checked in alsamixer and the first and last selections for the IEC958 aren't muted. I then tried creating a new .asoundrc with just a basic entry of:

<div>pcm.snd-cmipci{</div>
<div>type hw</div>
<div>card 0</div>
<div>device 2</div>
<div>}</div>
<div>again no luck. Any other ideas, or do you remember any other fiddling you had to do to get it to work?</div>

<div>Thank you,</div>
