Search the -users list archives for xyac and/or xosd. I remember
seeing a post from last year sometime about someone using xosd to
display information (including caller id) over anything that is
currently onscreen. I believe they were using yac to send caller
id info, but they used xosd to display it so I don't see why you
couldn't call xosd from your vonage callerid script instead of
mythtvosd of whatever you're using now that only displays when watching
video. xosd should display over anything that is currently
onscreen, including menus.<br>
