We dont have that much TV worth recording down here is AUS<br>
Sound like a sweet setup, but you mightwant to dedicate one of thosemore
powerfull backend to a transcoding/ com flagging server. (if you are doing
transcoding/com flagging) with that amount of tv cards etc it would get quite
busy. <br>

<p><font size=2 face=Arial><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial'>Reading
through the docs it says that the master backend HAS TO have at least one
capture/tuner device. It suggests the "round robin" approach. Can I,
as they suggest, have 2 slave backends with a total of 5 tuners, (DirecTV) and
a 6th on the master. If I configure the tuners on the slaves first,
and the master last, then it will rarely, if ever, get used. Cool. If I add 2
more tuners for a total of 7 on the slaves, can I delete the one on the master,
add the 2 additional on the slaves, then re-add the one (now 8th) on the
master. Making the 8th tuner hardly ever used.</span></font><o:p></o:p></p>
