Hi, I followed the same instructions and everything worked for me. Sometimes I find that rebooting causes the ivtv driver or lirc to load incorrectly. Do you see anything suspecious in the /var/log/messages? Does /dev/lirc0 or /dev/lirc exist? Also did you upgrade lirc? if so, did you upgrade lirc-kmdl as well?

<br><br>According to a '# /sbin/service lircd status' the process is still running fine, and when I run irw, it sits there waiting to spit out commands, but when I press buttons on the remote, nothing displays. I've tested the batteries, so I know it's not that. Is there a change that has to be made in
modprobe.conf like there was for the ivtv upgrade? Any help would be great. I'm using the receiver that came with my PVR-250, along with the 250 remote. Thanks.<br>
